May 2021 Update: This announcement is no longer in effect, We are currently in doing online only services.
Dear Congregation:
After prayerful consideration and feedback from the congregation we would like to share that we will be having two (2) in-person services on Sunday. We will have one service at 9am and the second at 11am. We are asking that younger families attend the 9am service, if you so choose, as we have the potential to offer Sunday School for the morning service if there are enough volunteers to run this program. Several items of note for the services going forward:
- Registration is required for attendance. (Please note that by registering, you are agreeing to the protocols as listed on the registration)
- Please sign on to the Bridge App or call the church during office hours to book. Registration will open on Wednesday and close on Friday at 5pm. (There will be a link on the church website and the church Facebook page as well.)
- We are limiting registration to 75 members per service currently so please register early.
- Social distancing must be followed. Masks will be mandatory. (If you do not have a mask, or forget it, we will have some at the church for you).
- If you wear a coat, please take it with you into the Sanctuary and place it beside you as the hangers will not be in the foyer.
- If you are picking up your mail from your mailbox after church, please use the west doors of the fellowship hall as an exit.
- We also ask to minimize the congregating and socializing in the foyer.
- Please follow the direction of the volunteers and ushers.
If you have any questions about the services or how they will flow, please contact your district elder. As we progress through this changing landscape, there will be a lot of bumps and hiccups so please be patient as we all work through this together. We will proceed with the outlined items of note until further notice.
On behalf of council, Jeff Kooiker
